DESCRIPTION

The Swamp-Creeper is a large, lamprey-like beast. The Swamp-Creeper is a sneaky beast: like other beasts, the Swamp-Creeper is a highly adept ambush predator. While some creatures use their own flesh to camouflage with their surroundings, the Swamp-Creeper instead opts to simply hide beneath the disgusting and scum-covered swamp water it calls home. When it determines prey to be near, the Swamp-Creeper lunges out from its hiding spot and grabs its prey; after grabbing its prey, the Swamp-Creeper then attempts to drown its victim before drinking its blood and dumping the corpse. Victims who are fortunate enough to escape the grasp of a Swamp-Creeper are left with a large hole that was cut out by the vile beast. Fortunately, the Swamp-Creeper is considered a good food source for other creatures such as the Kleekrok and, its mortal enemy, the Heraklotz; sometimes, the Swamp-Creeper attacks the Heraklotz, ripping chunks from its unprotected underbelly when it unwittingly enter the predator’s watery domain.
